Perfect bedroom - what should we know?
The bedroom is the place where your day begins and ends. The place where you wake up and go to sleep every night, so you should feel comfortable in this space so that you can relax and unwind easily. If your bedroom is perfectly arranged, your sleep pattern will be consistent and continuous.
Use soothing colors
Your bedroom is primarily a place of relaxation. This means that this place should be bright and less crowded. When choosing the color and style of the walls, it is better to choose subtle and relaxing colors such as pastels and earth tones, as they promote peaceful sleep.
Reduce the light in the room
The morning sunlight streaming in through your windows or the blue light from your smartphone screen can wreak havoc on your sleep. The process by which our body prepares for sleep is the release of melatonin, a naturally occurring hormone in our brain. It signals our body that it is time to sleep. Light has a significant effect on the process of melatonin release, which ultimately makes the sleep process difficult.
Use a comfortable mattress
Using a comfortable mattress is important for a good night's sleep. For example, if you sleep on your back, you need a medium-firm mattress to keep your back and shoulders from straining. Side sleepers feel more comfortable on average in a soft mattress because the softness helps reduce pressure on the shoulders and hips.
Reduce the temperature
No one wants a very hot and humid or very cold bedroom. However, for some, the desired and acceptable temperature is different. However, as a rule, 15-23 degrees Celsius is considered the ideal sleeping temperature for adults. If you don't have an air conditioner in your bedroom, that's not a problem as there are so many fans and portable air conditioners available at affordable prices these days.
Bring plants into the space
Plants can not only brighten the space and purify the air but also bring a calm, light atmosphere to the room. By bringing them into the interior, you can easily fill the space and add value to the decor.
Avoid clutter
Chaos and calmness are definitely not synonymous. Therefore, there should be no chaos and disorder in your bedroom, that is, you should place only a chest of drawers, a wardrobe, and a small table next to the bed. Items and furniture that you don't use every day should not be in this space.
Use the bedroom to sleep
Your bedroom may be your 'little office', often the place where you eat, but you should keep in mind that in reality, using your bedroom for anti-sleep purposes can make it difficult for you to fall asleep. The main idea and purpose of the bedroom is to be a place of comfort and peace for you, not a multifunctional place.
